Former Access students are the brains behind Takeover Entertainment which operates as an independent record label, talent agency, music production company as well as its own music-publishing house.

Archie Lamb and Jack Foster wanted to develop their music skills which led them to study at Access Norwich.

It was here they became hooked to the business side of music and in 2006, they decided to set up their own artist management company which specialises in producing R&B, hip hop and electronic music.

The company’s coup was to sign and mastermind the phenomenal rise of UK grime artist, Tinchy Stryder. They signed him to a joint publishing deal with EMI and the result was a string of best-selling singles and live appearances.

In 2010, Takeover Entertainment signed a joint-deal with Jay Z and Roc Nation to create a European record label called Takeover Roc Nation. Takeover Entertainment also manage Giggs, Dappy and ex-Access star Ria Ritchie.

More recently, they have been working with Dave, one of the biggest names in grime at the moment. At only 19 years old, Dave has collaborated with multi Grammy Award winning English producer, songwriter and musician, Fraser T Smith and other grime royalty such as AJ Tracey. Drake has even released a remix of one of his tracks.
