BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma

Explore the foundations of graphic design, emphasising the importance of effective visual communication.

Learn how to convey messages through art, both in traditional mediums and in digital formats, and be introduced to the various artistic tools, techniques and software used in the field.

Gain a diverse range of skills, including communication through art, infographic creation, motion graphics, interactive media, illustration, and digital art.

Learn essential photography concepts such as planning, camera techniques, composition, lighting, and post-processing/editing.

Refine your skills and extend your professional experience, while getting support to make decisions around your best next steps, including guidance through the university application process and development of your working style.

Specialise, and create materials including a portfolio that reflect you as a creative.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

At least four GCSEs at grades 4-9, or C-A* including English (other grades will be considered on a case by case basis).

MATHS AND ENGLISH

If you are 16-18 and don’t already have GCSE Grades 4 or above in mathematics and/or English Literature or Language, it will be compulsory for you to do a GCSE level maths and/or English course alongside your studies with us. Learn more here.
