Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Multichannel Campaign Management:
- Assist in the planning, creation, and execution of multichannel marketing campaigns to promote Powered by CAN’s programmes, events, and initiatives.
- Liaise with internal teams and colleagues to understand the needs and outcomes of their projects.
- Employ a blend of online and offline channels, including social media, email marketing, website, print materials, and events, to reach and engage target audiences, funders and stakeholders.
Content Creation and Distribution:
- Generate engaging and persuasive content across various marketing channels, such as social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the Powered by CAN team to produce multimedia content like videos, infographics, and podcasts to share and celebrate the work of Powered by CAN.
- Manage content distribution across different channels, maintaining consistency in messaging and branding.
Digital Marketing:
- Support the management of the organisation’s social media presence, including content scheduling, community interaction, and performance analysis.
- Assist in implementing SEO strategies to enhance the organisation’s online visibility and drive traffic to relevant digital assets.
- Monitor key digital marketing metrics, providing regular reports on campaign performance and insights.
Event Promotion and Support:
- Aid in promoting events and activities, including fairs, workshops, conferences, and fundraising events.
- Assist in creating event marketing materials like invitations, posters, and online promotions.
- Provide on-site assistance during events to ensure smooth execution and maximise participant engagement.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns across various channels, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Analyse data and insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in marketing efforts.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, showcasing campaign results and recommendations for optimisation.
- Desired but not essential:
- Evidence of previous blog creation, video/ film editing and/or creation or the planning of monthly tasks.
- Has a basic understanding of individual digital marketing functions.
- Any relevant marketing experience
- comfortable using social media marketing on all main platforms: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.
