Learn to understand industry standard software and methods for handling industry-based briefs.
Gain knowledge of the digital procedures, tools, and methods employed by experts in the animation and VFX fields.
Learn the 12 principles of animation that will help you lay a foundation for developing your essential talents and working on them in practical briefs, and obtain a wide grasp of various forms of animation and VFX (with a concentration on 2D and 3D based mediums), honing your abilities in 3D modelling, live action sequence compositing, digital animation, and image editing.
Develop understanding of film language, animation pipelines and processes, with a particular focus on building a strong set of skills.
Refine your skills and extend your professional experience, while getting support to make decisions around your best next steps, including guidance through the university application process and development of your working style.
Specialise, and create materials including a portfolio, professional websites and promotional materials that reflect you as a creative.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
At least four GCSEs at grades 4-9, or C-A* including English (other grades will be considered on a case by case basis).

MATHS AND ENGLISH
If you are 16-18 and don’t already have GCSE Grades 4 or above in mathematics and/or English Literature or Language, it will be compulsory for you to do a GCSE level maths and/or English course alongside your studies with us. Learn more here.
