Slingshot is your gateway to the world of gaming. Based in the vibrant heart of Manchester, Slingshot Studio is a trailblazing independent games company on a mission to empower the next generation of game developers. Founded by Guy Bramwell-Smith in November 2022, and passionately supported by Access Creative College, Slingshot gives students all important work experience to create and launch their games onto a platform to be experienced by fellow enthusiasts.
As an ACC games learner, what does our partnership with Slingshot mean for you?
The Slingshot team work with ACC learners to put their theory work into practise. You will be armed with a range of workplace skills and experiences as well as a portfolio of published work to showcase for future employment – vital pieces for your CV.
Slingshot is a community of likeminded, passionate aspiring games designers. You will build your own network and who knows, you could be running your very own games studio with the connections you make one day!
